Sweet Heat Chicken Wings

Sweet Heat Chicken Wings

Peachy Sweet with a Spicy Kick 🍑🌶️

Ingredients:

Chicken Wings

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

Peach Balsamic Glaze

Directions:

  1. Prep the Wings

Preheat your oven, grill, smoker, or air fryer to 375°F. Pat the wings dry with paper towels to help them crisp up during cooking.

In a large bowl or zip-loc bag, toss the wings with cornstarch, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika until evenly coated. Shake off any excess coating.
  2. Cook the WingsArrange the wings in a single layer and cooke for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through. Cook until crispy, golden, and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  3. Make the GlazeWhile the wings cook, combine the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, and salt into a small saucepan. Simmer gently over low heat for 2-5 minutes, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened and glossy.
Do not allow the glaze to come to a boil, as the balsamic can gelatinize and become clumpy.
  4. Toss & ServeTransfer the cooked wings to a large bowl and toss with the warm glaze until fully coated. Garnish with diced green onions or fresh chives, serve immediately, and enjoy!
