Sweet Citrus Perfection đ
Ingredients:
Loaf:
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup Wild Groves Meyer Lemon Olive Oil
- Zest of half a lemon
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp poppy seeds
Lemon Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Wild Groves Meyer Lemon Olive Oil
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 °F and set the rack in the middle of the oven.Â
- Lightly grease a 9" x 5" loaf pan with olive oil and line with parchment paper (leave a bit of overhang on the side to help release the loaf from the pan after baking).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and poppyseeds.Â
- In a large bowl, add eggs and sugar and whisk vigorously for about 1 minute (until light and frothy). Add the Greek yogurt, Wild Groves Meyer Lemon Olive Oil, lemon juice and lemon zest. Mix until combined.Â
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients with a rubber spatula until combined (do not over mix).
- Pour batter into your prepared pan and bake for 35-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center, comes out mostly clean.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the ingredients for the glaze.
- Once fully baked, remove from oven and let cool for 15 minutes.
- Run a knife along the edges of the pan and gently lift the loaf out of the pan onto a cooling rack to finish cooling.Â
- Once completely cooled, drizzle or drench with the glaze!Â

In step 4 of the directions âadd eggs and sugarâ however I do not see the amount of sugar mentioned in the ingredients for the loaf. Your Meyer Lemon Olive Oil is one of my favorites and I always have one plus a back up on hand. I would like to make this recipe if you can share the amount of sugar used in the âloafâ.

That sounds delicious. I like the fact that has Greek yogurt in the recipe and of course Meyer lemon olive oil. đ
