It pairs perfectly with yogurt, milk, or fruit, and is also delicious on top of a smoothie for a little added crunch. Add in your favorite dried fruits and nuts and you've got a delicious granola!
Chocolate Chunk Olive Oil Granola Recipe:
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup puffed rice cereal
- 1 cup chopped raw nuts (almonds, cashews, or walnuts)
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup maple syrup, agave, or honey
- 1/2 cup Wild Groves Chocolate Olive Oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips or chunks
- Preheat your oven to 340 degrees F.
Add the oats, puffed rice cereal, nuts, chia seeds, salt, and cocoa powder to a large mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, warm the olive oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until melted and combined. Pour over the dry ingredients and mix well.
Spread the mixture evenly onto a lined baking sheet and add the chocolate chips/chunks on top.
Bake the granola for 17-24 minutes (or until fragrant and golden brown).
Let cool completely and enjoy. Store in an air-tight container for up to 3 weeks.
