VIDEO: Arbequina EVOO wins Best of California

Hey all you Extra Virgins, big news!

We are beyond excited to announce that our Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil took home the coveted "Best of California" award at this year's 2022 California State Fair Olive Oil Competition (one of the biggest olive oil competitions in the Country).  Watch the video above to hear Dewey talk about the award. 

This award is extremely prestigious as there are only 3 given, in other words, Wild Groves Arbequina is one of the top 3 oils in California this year!  We were judged amongst 468 olive oils submitted from all over California.  

This year's Arbequina is mild, smooth and full of fruit.  You'll note red apples and grapes on the front end, with soft notes of artichoke and almonds on the end, with a delicate peppery finish from those healthy polyphenols.

I'm extremely proud of this evoo and our team.  This is a fantastic accomplishment for us here at Wild Groves, as it's an incredible amount of work that starts with farming the olives in the grove and picking the very first olive off the trees, to getting olive oil crushed at mill, into bottles and finally into customer's hands.  Well done Team!
