Crisp apples meet bright white balsamic for a fresh, perfectly balanced bite. 🍎
Ingredients:
Dressing
- 3 tbsp Wild Groves Robust Blend EVOO
- 1 1/2 tbsp Wild Groves White Balsamic Vinegar

1/8 tsp sea salt
- 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
Salad
- 5 ounces mixed greens
- 1 large red apple (Dewey's favorite is Cosmic Crisp)
- 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles (substitute with grated gouda or cheddar)
- 1/4 cup caramelized roasted pecans
Directions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper until emulsified. Alternatively, you can drizzle and assemble the ingredients directly over the salad without whisking first if preferred.
- Add the mixed greens to a large serving bowl.
- Slice the apple into very thin slices or bite sized chunks and add them to the greens.
- Sprinkle in the blue cheese crumbles.
- Pour dressing over the salad and gently toss to combine.
- Finish by arranging any remaining apple slices on top, along with the caramelized roasted pecans.
